Adult BALOO Training

Training is an important part of learning to become an effective leader. Trained leaders impact the quality of programs, leader tenure, youth tenure, and a whole lot more. A trained leader is better prepared to make the Scouting program all it can be! Bag Sales Fundraiser on November 6th

Bag Sales generate essential funds to pay for scout equipment, maintenance, and activities. All Scouts are required to sell 30 rolls each by attending Bag Sale Day or electing to sell on them on their own. The Command Center location is the Chevron Offices Parking lot at 1862 Kingwood Drive, enter at Ladbrook Drive. For more information please contact us at fundraiser@kingwood1377.mytroop.us . Sales Facts:  Scout bags are $15 a roll, 25 bags per roll, Each bag holds 39 gallons & is 2 mils thick, and they are Made in the USA.

Health & Medication Forms Requirements

Current Health forms A,B & C are required for all scout events.  Prescription forms and medications are to be turned in to our medical chair, Micheline King,  or the adult leader in charge of the camp medications for that trip.  Contact Micheline at sxeerrn65@gmail.com with new or changes in medication. 

  • Medication & Current Heath forms AB&C are now REQUIRED for every trip 
  • Meds are in the original, current, prescription bottle with Medication Form 
  • The quantity of medication matches the amount needed for the length of the trip only

High Adventure 2022

Sea Base 2022 is happening!  We will have three crews.  Here is a brief summary of details:

1) Eligibility - Any scout that is 13 or older the day before the trek starts.
2) Trek being considered (can’t guarantee the dates; spots are filling up fast) - Coral Reef Sailing - CR071422 (Jul 14 - 20, 2022) | 7 Days

Program Name: Coral Reef Sailing  -  Live onboard a sailing vessel, snorkel, and sail the waters surrounding the Florida Keys

3) Estimated Cost per Participant - $1,400 +\- $150 (final cost will depend on total number of crews and travel arrangements)
4) Size of Crew:  8 (2 adults minimum, 6 scouts); their must be at least 5 scouts per crew.  Adults cannot make up 50% or more of the crew.
5) Initial Deposit - $250 due immediately.

5TH ANNUAL FOX TROT KINGWOOD 5K on Saturday, October 16, 2021

By joining the Fox Trot Kingwood 5K you're helping to close the gap on a cure for Parkinson's disease. Runners and walkers of any experience levels or speed are welcome!  (Registration $35 per individual / $50 per family of 2+ Distances  5K Run/5K Walk)
Time: Registration starts at 9:30 a.m-  5K Run/Walk starts at 10:00 a.m.- Event ends at 12:00 p.m.
